A great time was had by all and we thank DoubleTree Suites Southcenter for hosting this event and many thanks to all of our friends and supporters who helped make this a successful event.


Thank you for your support!  The Tukwila Pantry received $1,511.34 from your participation in the CenturyLink Backpack Buddies virtual food drive.

 $5,000 Grant from Waste Management

Everyone, who went to the Waste Management Recycling Challenge web site, and entered their name, 
e-mail address, zip code and city helped Tukwila Pantry toward the $5,000 grant.

Give Big 2015

We want to send out our deep appreciation for all who gave so generously through the Seattle Foundation "Give Big" one-day event on May 5th.  Your gift will help feed many.

We want to extend our greatest appreciation to all who participated in the annual "Strike Out Hunger" fund raiser organized by the rotary club of Duwamish South Side.  This was a very successful and fun event that raised funds for the Tukwila Pantry to "Strike Out Hunger" in our community.  Thank You Everyone for your commitment to this cause!!!!!!

We want to extend a big thank you to our friends at the Angle Lake Shore Club.  Thy presented us food and donations raised from their "Freezin for a Reason" cold plunge event. Thank you for your support in the fight against hunger.

A big "Thank You to a couple of employees from our friends at SABEY who decided to hold a SeaHawk Jersey raffle and presented us with a generous and greatly appreciated food and cash donation.

The four (4) Card Rooms of Tukwila have teamed together to partner with the Tukwila Food Pantry.  Each has committed to monthly contributions of $50.00.  The additional $200 per month from the Card Rooms is anticipated to provide an extra 2,000 meals every month.  The Card Rooms are dedicated to supporting the needs of the Tukwila community through these monthly donations to this worthy cause. 

​A spokesperson from the Card Rooms stated, “as part of Tukwila’s business community, giving back to the city and its residents is part of our civic commitment. While unemployment and today’s economy are not where we would like them to be, we are grateful to be able to help the community and provide families with nutritious meals. Thanks to the Tukwila Pantry for their hard work! We looked forward to our making the most of our partnership and serving our community.

​Tukwila Pantry is now registerd with Bartell Drugs and the eScrip program.  Customers who sign up for a B Caring Card and shop at Bartell can earn money for Tukwila Pantry.  So sign up soon!!!

Don't have a B Caring Card? Sign up for one at any check stand or download a form and bring to your nearest Bartell Drugs.

Much thanks and appreciation is extnded to our friends at the DoubleTree Suites for their
food drive that brought in approximately 250 pounds.

We want to extend a big thank you to our friends at Academy Schools for their food donation.  The students and staff held a food drive and delivered 600 pounds of food.  The students at Academy Schools should be proud of their accomplishment in raising food donation to support the fight against hunger in their community.

A big thank you going out to the teachers and staff at Foster High School for their support in the ongoing fight against hunger in our community.  Mr. Renz presented Tukwila Pantry with a financial donation from their successful Soup Cook-Off fund raiser.

Tukwila Pantry benefits from bracelet sales!!


The "Thin Red Line" is for a line of duty deaths in the fire service. May proceeds on sales of the "Thin Red Line" bracelet were donated to the Tukwila Food Pantry. In memory of Tukwila Fire Captain Michael McCoy who passed away in the line of duty.
